Video: Misha Collins on Castiel's post-Purgatory 'Supernatural' life
But to be honest, LA TV Insider Examiner already knew that. When we visited Collins and the Supernatural set in general at the end of last month, he let us in on what life post-Purgatory would be like for Cas.
"When Cas comes out of Purgatory, he’s a bit diminished but then seems to regain his powers and can do things that we didn’t previously know he could do, like transport other people into other people’s heads,” Collins previewed for us.
Castiel and Dean's relationship may be a bit strained by how split apart they were in Purgatory, but there is a bit of question mark hanging over Sam and Castiel's relationship, too.
"We just, just started playing out any dynamic between Sam and Cas, so that is still to be determined, but I hope [their relationship doesn't get better] because then I'd have to work more with Jared," he joked.
However begrudgingly they may work together right now, though, it’s going to prove a positive thing that Castiel still has Sam and Dean in his corner.
As Collins put it: “There’s something going on with Cas that neither Cas, nor the brothers know about. Cas is kind of being manipulated behind the scenes, but he’s not aware of it… There are people trying to align themselves with him, but they’re not necessarily genuine allies.”
